The Golden Age Academy is a non-profit organization that encourages individuals to use their skills, knowledge, and experience as contribution to their community.
The norms of the Golden Age Academy are a reflection of its history and philosophy.
In 1997, a small group of seniors who had an interest in the Arts and Crafts and who wanted to encourage development of their inner gift and express themselves in various forms of artistic creations started the Organization.
The Golden Age Academy is now open to all. The Organization invites people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. We believe that artistic growth is fostered by sharing experiences and values among members of a diverse community.
Our art and craft works are displayed all year-round in the lobby of the famous Columbus Centre, in Toronto. We hold several exhibitions. We also promote, participate, and organize access to other Arts and Crafts shows in Toronto and across Ontario.
