Salvatore was Born in Baselice Benevento, Italy.
He immigrated to Canada on November 3, 1951 with the Vulcanian in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
He credits the artwork of his grand father and father who were both tinsmith.
Salvatore began his professional career working with Ford both in Windsor and Oakville Ontario.
He was an Inspector and Hand Leader on the assembling line
because of his experience in the tinsmith trade.
After retiring, he was wandering about stain glass artworks, when he became inspired.
While he dabbled in oil and acrylic painting, it was the stain glass artwork that truly moved and inspired him and that grew to become his passion. Today he is very active in both the visual arts and in music and plays guitar and mandolin every Friday at the Columbus Centre in Toronto, Ontario. He also displays his artwork at the Columbus Centre and is a very proud member of the Golden Age Academy. Salvatore was also awarded Ontario Champion for speed walking in his Category on numerous occasions.
